A confiança dos empresários da indústria continua em baixa no Brasil. Segundo dados divulgados nesta quinta-feira (12) pela Confederação Nacional da Indústria (CNI), o setor chega ao sexto mês consecutivo com o Índice de Confiança do Empresário Industrial (ICEI) abaixo da linha dos 50 pontos — o que sinaliza um cenário de desconfiança generalizada.
Em junho, o ICEI registrou uma leve queda, de 48,9 para 48,6 pontos. Embora a variação seja pequena, ela reforça uma tendência de cautela entre os industriais, especialmente em relação ao rumo da economia nos próximos meses, explica Marcelo Azevedo, gerente de Análise Econômica da CNI.
“Os empresários mostraram um otimismo mais moderado, quando se fala das expectativas com relação às suas próprias empresas. Mas com relação à economia brasileira, houve uma queda mais forte, um aumento do pessimismo nessa passagem de maio para junho.”
A pesquisa revela que, mesmo com uma discreta melhora na percepção das condições atuais — que subiu 0,1 ponto, chegando a 44,1 — o sentimento geral ainda é de insatisfação. Quando abaixo de 50 pontos, esse indicador mostra que os empresários veem o momento presente de forma negativa, tanto em relação à própria empresa quanto ao ambiente econômico mais amplo.
Já o componente que mede as expectativas para os próximos seis meses caiu para 50,9 pontos, refletindo um aumento do pessimismo, principalmente com o desempenho da economia nacional. O otimismo com o futuro das próprias empresas também perdeu força.
Sobre a pesquisa
O ICEI é um levantamento mensal da CNI que capta o clima entre os industriais. Nesta edição, foram ouvidas 1.169 empresas de todo o país, entre os dias 2 e 6 de junho de 2025. A amostra incluiu negócios de diferentes portes: 480 pequenas empresas, 420 médias e 269 grandes.
