O Ministério da Integração e do Desenvolvimento Regional (MIDR), por meio da Defesa Civil Nacional, reconheceu, nesta terça-feira (18), a situação de emergência em 28 cidades afetadas por desastres. As portarias com os reconhecimentos foram publicadas no Diário Oficial da União (DOU). Confira mais detalhes abaixo.
Passam por um período de estiagem os municípios de Mata Grande e Santana do Ipanema, em Alagoas; Pedro Alexandre, na Bahia; Itaporanga, São Vicente do Seridó e Vieirópolis, na Paraíba; Araripina e Caruaru, em Pernambuco, e Constantina, Giruá, Jóia, Pântano Grande, Planalto, Santo Ângelo, Santo Cristo, Segredo, Sobradinho e Trindade do Sul, no Rio Grande do Sul.
Foram castigadas por chuvas intensas as cidades de Capitólio e Paraopeba, em Minas Gerais; Bonito, Monte Alegre e Placas, no Pará, e Guaramirim, em Santa Catarina.
Já Paranaguá, no Paraná, foi atingida por alagamentos, enquanto Cachoeira Paulista, em São Paulo, por vendaval, e Maratá, no Rio Grande do Sul, por enxurradas.
Por fim, o município de Carira, em Sergipe, obteve o reconhecimento federal de situação de emergência por causa da seca, que é um período de ausência de chuva mais prolongado do que a estiagem.
Agora, as prefeituras já podem solicitar recursos do Governo Federal para ações de defesa civil, como compra de cestas básicas, água mineral, refeição para trabalhadores e voluntários, kits de limpeza de residência, higiene pessoal e dormitório, entre outros.
Como solicitar recursos
Cidades com o reconhecimento federal de situação de emergência ou de estado de calamidade pública podem solicitar ao MIDR recursos para ações de defesa civil. A solicitação pelos municípios em situação de emergência deve ser feita por meio do Sistema Integrado de Informações sobre Desastres (S2iD). Com base nas informações enviadas nos planos de trabalho, a equipe técnica da Defesa Civil Nacional avalia as metas e os valores solicitados. Com a aprovação, é publicada portaria no DOU com o valor a ser liberado.
