O número de casos prováveis de dengue em Manaus atingiu a marca de 852 em 2025, apontam os dados do Ministério da Saúde (dados até 7/6/2025). A cidade não registrou óbito pela doença este ano.
Esse é um dos motivos pelos quais toda a população de Manaus e dos municípios da região metropolitana deve manter as medidas de prevenção aos focos do aedes aegypti, mosquito transmissor, e ficar atenta aos sintomas da dengue.
É o que destaca o secretário-adjunto da Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde e Ambiente do Ministério da Saúde, Fabiano Geraldo Pimenta Junior.
“Para que nós possamos evitar o surto de arboviroses, [é necessária] a sinergia das ações do poder público, com as ações intersetoriais de coberta de lixo, de abastecimento de água, da visita domiciliar dos agentes com as orientações, além de a população destinar dez minutos por semana na nossa casa, no nosso ambiente de trabalho, verificando se existe alguma coisa acumulando água.”
Fique atento aos sintomas da dengue. Se estiver com febre, dor de cabeça e/ou atrás dos olhos, manchas vermelhas no corpo, beba bastante água, não tome remédio por contra própria e procure uma unidade de saúde.
O secretário adjunto da Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde e Ambiente do Ministério da Saúde, Fabiano Geraldo Pimenta Junior, destaca: no surgimento dos sintomas, é fundamental procurar atendimento imediatamente.
“As arboviroses têm alguns sintomas comuns. São febre, dor no corpo, no caso da dengue, dor ao redor dos olhos, dor nas articulações. Mas, o mais importante para a população é que, na manifestação desses sintomas, procurar imediatamente uma Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS). A UBS vai, através dos profissionais capacitados e de alguns exames que são relativamente simples, por exemplo, um hemograma, dar a melhor condução ao caso.”
Manter-se bem hidratado é fundamental para ter uma boa recuperação e previne casos graves da doença. Além disso, nada de tomar remédio por conta própria.
