O Ministério da Integração e do Desenvolvimento Regional (MIDR), por meio da Defesa Civil Nacional, reconheceu, nesta quarta-feira (19), a situação de emergência em 14 cidades gaúchas afetadas por desastres. A portaria com os reconhecimentos foi publicada no Diário Oficial da União (DOU). Confira mais detalhes abaixo.
Estão na lista os municípios de Ametista do Sul, Augusto Pestana, Barros Cassal, Cristal do Sul, Encruzilhada do Sul, Mato Queimado, Muitos Capões, Paim Filho, Restinga Seca, Ronda Alta, São Luiz Gonzaga e Sete de Setembro, que enfrentam um período de estiagem, e Salvador do Sul e Tavares, que foram castigados por fortes chuvas e queda de granizo, respectivamente.
Agora, as prefeituras já podem solicitar recursos do Governo Federal para ações de defesa civil, como compra de cestas básicas, água mineral, refeição para trabalhadores e voluntários, kits de limpeza de residência, higiene pessoal e dormitório, entre outros.
Até o momento, o Rio Grande do Sul tem 143 reconhecimentos vigentes, dos quais 114 por estiagem, 17 por chuvas intensas, seis por queda de granizo, cinco por vendaval e um por enxurradas.
Como solicitar recursos
Cidades com o reconhecimento federal de situação de emergência ou de estado de calamidade pública podem solicitar ao MIDR recursos para ações de defesa civil. A solicitação pelos municípios em situação de emergência deve ser feita por meio do Sistema Integrado de Informações sobre Desastres (S2iD). Com base nas informações enviadas nos planos de trabalho, a equipe técnica da Defesa Civil Nacional avalia as metas e os valores solicitados. Com a aprovação, é publicada portaria no DOU com o valor a ser liberado.
