A Defesa Civil Nacional reconheceu, nesta segunda-feira, 5 de maio, a situação de emergência nas cidades paranaenses de Iretama, afetada pela estiagem, e Cambará e Cidade Gaúcha, que registraram doenças infecciosas virais.
Com o reconhecimento, os municípios estão aptos a solicitar recursos do Governo Federal para ações de defesa civil.
O ministro da Integração e do Desenvolvimento Regional, Waldez Góes, explica como os repasses podem ser aplicados.
“Os recursos da Defesa Civil podem ser empregados naquele primeiro momento que acontece o desastre pra fazer assistência humanitária, pra dar kits de higiene, alimentação para as pessoas que foram atingidas, que enfrentam as consequências daquele desastre, bem como pra restabelecimento dos serviços essenciais, como, por exemplo, abastecimento de água e desobstrução de vias públicas. Além disso, nós também podemos utilizar o os recursos da Defesa Civil pra fazer reconstrução de infraestruturas públicas destruídas pelo desastre ou ainda de habitações destruídas pelo desastre”
Até o momento, o Paraná tem 33 reconhecimentos vigentes, dos quais 13 por enxurradas, quatro por vendaval, quatro por estiagem, três por inundações, três por chuvas intensas e dois por doenças infecciosas virais.
