O Ministério da Saúde intensificou, neste mês de julho, a vacinação contra o sarampo em áreas de fronteira, devido ao aumento de casos em países vizinhos, especialmente na Bolívia. O primeiro estado a receber a campanha o Dia D de vacinação foi o Acre, na terça-feira (15).
A vacina tríplice viral está disponível em todo Brasil. Em 2025, foram distribuídas mais de 12 milhões de doses e aplicadas, até meados de julho, 2,4 milhões. A mobilização prioriza municípios com baixa cobertura vacinal e circulação intensa de pessoas, visando proteger a população e impedir a reintrodução do vírus em território nacional.
No Acre, o reforço prioriza os sete municípios que fazem fronteira com a Bolívia: Acrelândia, Assis Brasil, Brasiléia, Capixaba, Epitaciolândia, Plácido de Castro e Xapuri. A Secretaria de Estado de Saúde do Acre (Sesacre) tem intensificado as campanhas de vacinação. Entre os dias 1° e 10 de julho, o estado aplicou 2.754 doses da vacina que protege contra o sarampo, caxumba e rubéola, sendo 2.231 em ações intensificadas e 201 doses zero, destinadas a bebês entre seis e onze meses.
Quem deve se vacinar:
- crianças de 12 a 15 meses (1ª e 2ª dose);
- crianças dos 6 a 11 meses (dose zero);
- pessoas não vacinadas ou com esquema incompleto;
- pessoas de 5 a 29 anos (com 2 doses registradas na caderneta);
- pessoas de 30 a 59 anos ( com 1 dose registrada na caderneta);
- brasileiros que estudam na Bolívia e retornam das férias.
Além da vacinação, nos dias 15 e 16 de julho, em Rio Branco e Brasiléia, o Ministério da Saúde e o Sesacre promovem seminários focados na prevenção do sarampo, na capacitação do manejo clínico de casos suspeitos, vacinação, vigilância e diagnósticos. Além de fortalecer a detecção precoce de casos e agilizar respostas de possíveis surtos.
Em 2025, foram registrados apenas cinco casos da doença, sendo dois no Rio de Janeiro, um em São Paulo, um no Rio Grande do Sul e um no Distrito Federal, todos importados. A Tríplice Viral, vacina que protege do sarampo, é ofertada pelo SUS em todas as Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBSs).
Outros estados fronteiriços terão um Dia D de vacinação, como Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul e Rondônia, programado para o dia 26 de julho.
